Huck Finn's On The Water - La Crosse

We took a quick trip during the week and decided to search for a good fish restaurant. Huck Finn turned out to be the perfect choice. We sat outside, and while there was a bit of a delay in getting started, the food was truly excellent. The staff seemed a little understaffed, but they were attentive and checked on us frequently. Overall, the food and the overall experience were fantastic.

This restaurant is the perfect spot by the river, featuring a fantastic terrace area! I enjoyed a huckleberry mojito and a piña colada, both of which were absolutely delicious. We shared a package and a burger, accompanied by soup and salad as sides. Everything was tasty and well-presented. Our waitress was incredibly sweet, friendly, and helpful. Although it took a while for our food to be acknowledged, we didn't mind at all, as we were very happy to be outside on the spacious terrace with a wonderful view.

This restaurant is a wonderful place to dine. The interior is beautiful, and the staff is friendly and very accommodating. There are lovely seating options both indoors and outdoors, all with stunning views of the harbor. The food and drinks are excellent and reasonably priced. I will definitely return!

Great outsight, calender eagle by the evening meal! great catfish, walleye, wraps, burger and salate. strong drinks. they were underoccupied and were surprised by 2 large groups on a Monday, but were also on board 6 more servers so should be better next time... will definitely be back.

The food was okay. However the service was amazing!! Ari is one of the best servers I've had help me out in a very long time! She was polite, attentive, and just all around great! Being totally honest I would be 50-50 on coming back because of the food but because of the awesome service I will give this restaurant another chance. I had the broiled cod unfortunately it was over cooked and bland my wife had the chicken tenders nothing special frozen store bought and cold when served. The other couple we were with had batterfried shrimp and tenderloin and said it was good. So we will be back for the steak next time.
