Tacos Chato - La Costa

I went in yesterday for breakfast burritos. They were terrific! The guy at the counter was super friendly and offered great hospitality. I?ll definitely be going back.

Don?t eat from this place I repeat don?t eat from this place. Worst tacos I?ve ever had. Didn?t follow instructions and the tacos over all tasted very bad. Too much mean, no cheese, and very bad tortillas. These tacos made me loose my appetite.

Fish taco pretty good -What you would expect. Bean cheese burrito pretty good. However my complaint is they automatically stuff every order into a plastic bag regardless of whether you?re eating in or out. Also the fish taco came in a huge Styrofoam box.Come on people do we really need to generate so much plastic trash? Why not just use some wax paper like you do with theburritos? And if the customer needs a bag, then just ask if they need it or not. So much freaking trash comes out of these fastfood Mexican places- it?s un believable. Like the little salsa cups. I remember when most Mexican food places just had a regularsalsa dispenser bottle that you could use.

A friend brought me to Tacos Chato for Taco Tuesday, and it was fantastic! I tried the asada, al pastor, birria, and cabeza. They were all delicious, though cabeza was probably my favourite. They are street taco sized, and at these prices far tootempting, but four was probably one or two too many. The red and green sauces are pretty good.

This is my favorite place. I work nearby and have turned all my coworkers onto thier al pastor tacos. Food is always delicious, thier al pastor tacos are the things dreams are made of! And the staff is always friendly, even when the place is packed with a line out the door. Juan especially is always friendly and courteous. Tacos Chato is an A+ all around!!
