Contribuiți la feedbackA wide selection of Japanese pickled vegetables with some ham/fish. The food and drink we ordered were really nice and at a fair price. The staff was friendly and flexible to get the menu for us.
After 30 minutes wait for lunch without English menu and staff barely communicate in English you get delicious, surprisingly in flavors meal (mixture of vegetables, pinch of meat and fish, soup, rice with maize) for ¥1800. Beautiful atmosphere, well-designed interior. 12 places near the bar and 3 tables for four people on the floor level. On the first floor there are 26 seats and large windows that allow you to view the street and past people.

I landed here without knowing what to expect, let me tell you that I didn't disapointed, I really had a wonderful experience in this farm to table restaurant specializing in marinated Japanese vegetables, they also have really good cocktails that are made up of the classic sours you find in izakayas to there. The menu is also really great and easy to understand.
What a little jewel! I asked a barista in a local cafe, which was her favorite restaurant in Kyoto, and she called this place. The demographic phenomena seemed mainly young, hip adults of 25-40. Anyway, I ordered 5 dishes and a drink, each delicious with local and international flavors – all for about $35! (Then it was much higher). Nice ambience.
