The price is also fair and even ridiculous compared to the quality meal you get. No wasted food, short supply, so be sure tonget get there early to have more choice in the menu.
BEST YES, I MEAN 'B E S T ' BURGER I 've ever had!!!!! Advice: 1. Go as EARLY as possible since the food sold out quickly. If you come around 1pm or even 2pm for lunch it might be closed or you won 't be able to order what you want. (they close early when the food sold out) 2. Make reservations this little cafe is super busy and so popular among vegetarians/vegans. Reserve seats as well as the food! 3. Ask for Japanese menu if you like seaweed :P 4. Food portion is considered 'big ' for Japanese, but for non Japanese I think it 's not big. I had a burger and I regretted I didn 't order more...(maybe because the food was too good? lol) 5. The cafe is run by a Japanese couple I talked with the male owner, he seemed a little worn out after such a busy morning but was still very friendly when he talked with me. I can tell both of them work really hard and they really care what they prepare for the customers. it 's a pity that I didn 't try the plate, it was sold out it 's a blessing that I got to try the best best burger (not just vegan burger) in Japan. Definitely come back again!
The food was amazing! The best I had on my 2-week trip to Japan. I ordered the cutlet meal and the texture and taste were so perfect. And it was so much cheaper than other restaurants like Ain Soph. I knew I didn’t have time to go back so I tried to order more food to take home, but they don’t do takeout. So I just ordered the fish burger and ate two whole set meals in one sitting because it was that good! Also the guy spoke pretty good English so that helped a lot. Highly recommend this place. The only thing that would make it even better is if they did takeout
THE best place in Kyoto. It's not in the center but not very complicated to reach. The vegan fish burger is absolutely divine. We also love all their desserts. The parfait is huge and filling, the caramel banana pizza is amazing and the chocolate cake is SO delicious. The place is very cozy and cute. We always love to go here and the owner is awesome!
I love this restaurant, my goal is to try every meal during my stay in Japan. So far, I've liked every dish I ate. They offer vegan version of the popular asian and western foods like burger, pizza, green curry, doria, ramen, etc. Around 1000¥ for one person. Avoid coming before closing hours, there's a chance it will be full.
