Great vegan lunch! it is a solid meal for 2100 ¥. reservation is required. also, they serve fantastic kombucha.

It was often and it is consistently excellent. perhaps advisable to book a table.

A bright room above an art gallery, kousagisha has only 12 seats, so they come early or if they can. we had a delicious vegan lunch with creamy burdock soup, marinated aubergine, tofu croquette, nori rolls, grilled mais and sweet potato, mixed salad, etc. there are also fabulous cakes and vegan ice cream for a afternoon coffee or tee break. everything is served in a quiet, inviting dish ceramic on attractive atmosphere. the chef speaks English. one of the best vegan restaurants of kyoto – a real shade.
