Hana-kitcho - Kyoto

We think we have managed to be happy to have an evening reservation on short notice in this restaurant. in fact it was unforgettable. among our favorite: warm sacrira blossom tea, scallop and uni in vinegar, small rice bowl with clams, raw juur with ginger, marinated cubes with red pfeffer, grilled ayu and steamed nigata steamed white rice with thin slices of tamago and dried garnel.

Very courteous staff, great eating presented on beautiful scurry, and they also get their own private rooms.

Beautifully executed kaiseki. Everything was delicious. Definitely recommend this place. Totally worth it.

Polite yet friendly staff and exceptional food. They are accommodating for menu preferences if you call ahead and explain. Anyway you will need to book in advance as it is deservingly popular. Not your typical Kyoto restaurant, and the service is so incredibly kind and inviting.

Excellent food. Particularly liked the tempura eel and the dessert. Impressed by the polite and friendly staff, who even noticed I was left handed and the utensils were arranged for a leftie
