Botejyu Kyoto

Great little place with this old traditional warm Japanese atmosphere. eating was fantastic, and they have their own original signature okonimiyakis, which I recommend. the personal was beautiful, the ladies were friendly, seem not to think out of the country and speaks English really good. highly recommended!

In 9 days in japan I had wagu, sashimi, brat ente and great street food. I don't know I had a better bite than the okonomiyaki in boteju. the yakisoba is great, but the okonomiyaki is phenomenal. English menus are available, and the personal speaks English well. highly recommended.

We loved this place. very authentic and local, made with real okonomiyaki just before them with the selection of the ingredients they like. the dame dominates this art and the whole personal was very friendly and familiar. eating is amazing, I would certainly recommend this for all ready to try the real thing and by the way very cheap for the worth!

This place is definitely worth a try! we landed in this restaurant randomly, but at the end we had one of our best meals in kyoto. the staff is very nice and dedicated and can speak English. the prices are also quite competitive. totally recommended!

Delicious okonomiyaki and great service. Very welcoming to foreigners! As a solo traveler I was nervous to walk in to some establishments but I was greeted with a smile and provided an English menu at this restaurant. The place is family run and very relaxed. The food is cooked in front of you on the griddle and tastes great. Check this place out after a day of sightseeing on Kyoto!
