Texas Pie Co - Kyle

The dessert pies were excellent. We decided to get the frozen chicken pot pie to take home. My girlfriend thought it tasted like it was made with cream of mushroom from a can or something similar. The crust on the chicken pot pie was delicious, but the rest of it was not very impressive. I suggest sticking to the desserts, as they are really good!

While talking with a friend who was visiting Kyle for the weekend, I suggested we stop by the Texas Pie Company after having lunch in Buda. I had heard amazing things about @texaspieco, so we decided to try out their pies. We purchased a whole Chocolate Cream Pie to share with our neighbors, as well as some small fruit pies in Blueberry and Strawberry Peach flavors. We have already tried the chocolate cream pie and it was deliciously sweet. The drive was definitely worth it!

The pies and desserts at this restaurant are absolutely delicious, they taste like pure joy and happiness. OMG! They were soooo good! I tried several pies and they were all equally amazing. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning soon to try more items on the menu.

They get a solid five stars for their pies! However, the lunch plates were just average. I got the big chef salad and it was good but just average. My wife got the quiche which she says was good but nothing special, and they mixed up our order and alsogave us the King Ranch chicken plate which turned out to be nachos with chicken and cheese sauce on top. Overall, Iwholeheartedly encourage you to come here for the atmosphere and the pies it is a really neat place.

The dessert cakes were great. we tried to go the frozen chicken pancakes. my friend felt that it was made with cream from mushroom cans or similar. the crust was great on the chicken pancakes but the rest was less fun. so do they stay at the desserts? re good!
