Spotswood - Kurunjang

A cosy place which serves great good by friendly staff. We went on a friday night and the restaurant was quite busy, and yet service was very fast. We ordered mixed grill and seafood platter and we loved both dishes. Highlight was the squid and mussels on the seafood platter the flavours were really nice! We asked for tomato sauce for our chips (which were perfectly fried and cruchy) and we were given a whole bottle when most other restaurants would only offer a tiny little bowl. Overall we were really impressed and enjoyed the whole experience. Will definitly go again

I have a become a regular on Monday nights for their steak nights $15 a drink/house wine) portion size is generous for the amount you pay, however on a few occasions, my steak was not cooked medium well or as I requested but this was not a huge issue for me. Overall, service is great and staff very friendly!

A local pub feel with a fancier than usual menu. The space is warm and inviting and the staff are really nice. We ordered from the specials menu duck and mushroom risotto and a pulled duck burger. There was a slightly issue with our burger ingredients being mixed up but the manager was a champ about it and gave us a round on the house. The special XPA on tap is delicious! The food itself was fantastic, loved the flavours and the departure from the standard pub fare. Will happily go back.

Ambience : open and bright thanks to West facing window.<br/ Service : Relaxed, but good. Table service and were able to split bill. Saved us a lot of hassle. <br/ Food : sliders and hot pot. Hot pot needed more heat through it. On the table, the steak in the sandwich was a bit overdone.<br/ Verdict : Food from kitchen just needs a bit more attention, otherwise it’s a good spot <br/

Cant beat the favourite local. They are good at what they do, the manager is running the place extremely well. Food is always a top pub meal -be warned though its best to go there hungry, large meals.. Awesome selection of drinks. We have had a private function there the staff were fantastic, we’d chose that venue again.
