The $15 lunch special has a variety of options and is great value for money we were all very happy with our meals (I got the grazers pie which was really nice). Staff were friendly and service was prompt. On my second visit to Royal Oak I ordered a Parma. It was nothing special at all and I couldn't finish it as it lacked taste.
$6 Furphy pints. Another 50% bar, 50% TAB, except more like 80% TAB. Can't really escape gambling here, but no way can you go past $6 pints, can comment that the bar man had zero banter/sociability.
Pub classics. Not a problem there. Freshly and promptly cooked. Friendly staff.<br/ <br/ Why the markdown? Public Holiday surcharge. Let me qualify that I don't mind there being one if a notice is easily seen. To be told at the point of sale immediately kills the positive vibe.<br/ <br/ Truth, people!
We always go as a small group and have never experienced anything that's not up to par. The service is friendly, accommodating and quite fast.<br/ <br/ The food is delicious with a very friendly and polite chef who always says hello and works to please anyone with particular dietary requirements. <br/ <br/ Mostly our little group gets the seniors menu which is jolly good value, sometimes we choose other selections on the menu and all are well priced and good value.<br/ <br/ It's always a pleasure and I recommend the Royal Oak Hotel as a jolly good place to go out for a nice meal without the fancy prices.
Good food. Coming to the royal oak the food was very well cooked and the service was very friendly . meals are priced very well and the environment was very relaxing. I asked for a medium steak and it was cooked to perfection and for dessert the berry pancakes were enjoyable. I will be coming back
