Movida De Tapas - Kurunjang

We came here for a late Saturday lunch a few weeks ago and enjoyed ourselves immensely. We sat at the bar and tried a number of dishes 2xdifferent octopus dishes, the chilli bread, the yellowfin tuna, and one of the main meals, all delicious morsels of flavour. We also had a number of gin and tonics, a great selection of different gins to try!

Yo Zomato, 120 for 2 people my ass LOL! Approx 250 for 2 people including 1~2 drinks each. Their tapas is amazing. Mains are also pretty nice. Perfect for a date night. Service was not really so attentive but also not too ignoring.. but not really up to the price you are paying for. But would definitely come back to try other dishes. I want to give 4.5 exactly bit giving 5 becoz I want to come back for other menu!

Can you have a taste of your cracker, anchovi and salmon sorbet? i thought it was extremely disgusting. why do you have to sorbet fish? it LOOKS amazing though. but that's the only thing that's good about that dish. the rest of the food was wonderfuuuuul!! loovved the food and spanish wine!

One of the rare 5 stars that I wasn’t expecting, I’m glad I came. <br/ <br/ Some chefs play with flavours, others incorporate texture, the chef at MoVida plays with temperature. From an anchovy crouton with tomato purée, to a smoked swordfish with pine nut gazpacho sobert, I was amazed at the novelty of such dishes. <br/ <br/ While every dish was at least a 4/5 and contributed to my overall review of 5/5, other dishes that stood were the braised beef cheek cauliflower purée, beef tartare and the beef intercostal with horseradish cream. <br/ <br/ While one might not come here just for bread, we found the olive oil here to be of exceptional quality and is worth a special mention. <br/ <br/ One caveat was that the staff were not very friendly and accommodating in explaining favourites or dish constituents. However this is one of those rare places where I overlook such aspects because of the novelty of the food.

A must go! Amazing Food and excellent service which makes it good value. Always leave with a smile~ Great service And every dish looked good, and tasted even better. Side note, their bread is A mazing so don't skip it, i.e. totally worth the calories.
