Black Bird Cafe - Kurunjang

It was the long weekend and my partner and I decided to have breakfast in Mornington. We came across this lovely cafe with extremely polite staff. We were well taken care of despite the large number of people. There were so many choices for food. Loved my food and cake. Really made my day! Would definitely return :

Friendliest staff always delicious food. Reasonably priced for massive portions. Have tried just about everything on the menu but the eggs florentine or the ricotta pancakes usually go down well.

Great cafe. Brought my family to Mornington and stopped in for lunch. The steak sandwich was huge but also tasty, good quality and steak cooked to perfection. The lamb burger was also Yum. The cakes are amazing and the service is excellent!

Great location in Mornington as it is down a large laneyway off Main Street. So you can sit outside and enjoy the food without having the noise of Main Street.

I have dined at Blackbird cafe several times and it never disappoints. The cafe is usually busy but often you can find a table. Both indoor and outdoor seating available. The menu is Turkish inspired with vegetarian and vegan options. I recommend the smashed avocado very fresh, tasty and filling. The menu is also reasonably priced compared to other cafes on Main Street.
