Basil Leaf Thai - Kurunjang

My go to Thai place, I love their roti satay, steamed rice pad see ew veggie. My ex always goes the green curry which he loves, the owners are very friendly the service is very quick I cannot wait to dine in when lockdown is over.

One of the best Thai places in the area, very underrated. Eaten and ordered here many times! Ambience of the restaurant is very lovely and cosy and the staff are very nice. <br/ <br/ Honestly top tier one of the best pud Thai’s I’ve eaten in my life (and I eat a lot of pad Thai, being a fav)!!!! Probably the best thing here!! Other great dishes are the somosas and satay skewers, special fried rice, roast pork dishes. Another great thing to try is the drinks, I had the lychee mint juice and it was amazinggg! <br/ <br/ Love this place, an absolute go to!!!

Small cute restaurant that's easily overlooked. The staff here is polite and friendly. The restaurant appears family owned hence the staff is not always at the front; we had to help ourselves to a table and menu when we arrived. The price is a little cheaper compared to other thai restaurants.<br/ <br/ Our favourite was the green curry and desserts. The green curry was faintly spicy and flavoursome. For desserts, we got the combination desserts which gives you a serve of each of their signatures desserts. Each items has a unique texture and flavour but all complemented with coconut.<br/ <br/ Only downside with our food was that some of the ingredients was missing when delivered; we got 3 piece of fish cakes instead of the 4 stated on the menu, and the curry only had vegetables and no tofu when we ordered the veg and tofu green curry.

This is another one of those hidden gems. The food here is superb- as close to Thai home cooking as you can get. We first tried their food via menulog, then decided to actually go to the restaurant because we enjoyed it so much. What a difference because you can actually ask for the food to be cooked “real thai spicy hot”. The restaurant itself is small, I’d recommend calling in for a reservation just in case they are busy. Some of our faves include the pad thai, their bbq, and curries. You won’t be disappointed.

Food is always fresh and generous in serving size. Each time I go I order thei Veg and Tofu Tom Yum soup it's delicious. A little and cosy restaurant who also use Menulog.
