Cassowary Churros Cafe - Kuranda

Service was great, meal was fantastic. I would recommend this as a 10 out of 10. It is at the markets after scenic train trip.

This little cafe is just delightful. The staff are super friendly, going out of their way to make your visit enjoyable. The good was delicious. I had a chicken gormet parcel which was so tasty. The milkshakes went down well with my husband and three year old. Our one year old might have enjoyed some chocolate milkshake too!! Definitely worth a visit.

In November 2018, I had breakfast at this restaurant. I ordered the scrambled eggs with bacon and toast. The portion size was large and the meal was great value for the price. The restaurant has a quirky and relaxed atmosphere. The staff were friendly and pleasant. I definitely plan on returning next time I'm in Kuranda.

My husband and I were hungry for breakfast when visiting the Kuranda market. After waiting for service at a different venue, which I won’t name, we headed to the Cassowary Cafe. We ordered eggs Benedict and scrambled eggs on toast with bacon and a latte. The service was friendly, and the breakfast was cooked to perfection. Mouthwatering bacon and eggs cooked beautifully. The setting was quaint and the backdrop was a rainforest. What a hidden little gem! You need to walk inside the market to find it tucked in the middle, but well worth it! Great food! Compliments to the chef!!

We had lunch at this restaurant while exploring the Markets. The churros were a big hit with our teenagers. We tried wraps, toasted sandwiches, and twisted potato sticks... and then indulged in some churros! The meals were fantastic, especially the light and fluffy churros. Unfortunately, I didn't get to try any. The service was friendly and quick.
