The Clove - Kudāl

Only hotel in entire Sindhudurga, where literally everything is incredible! i mean really incredible.. You have to go and experience it once, and then only you know.. The entrance, interior, restaurant, food quality, taste, staff experience... you wont feel like you are in Konkan. Excellent management, awesome food and service. Ok now tips ... 1. Never try kebab platter here.. these people are little conservative when it comes to platter. Go for individual kebab. All Paneer, Chicken Mashroom Kebab are excellent. Dont waste your money in seekh and tikka. Try everything else. Dont order or try Dahiwale Kebab in begining, it 's very heavy.. u cant imagine.. I dont remember, but they have some Kurkure Kebab I think, they are #1 Dont waste your money in chinese starters (and anything chinese this is not place for it.. 2. If you are hardly 2 people, dont waste your money in curry-roti. Go for Biryani. It 's the best quality Biryani and it comes with mint-yogart and it 's awesome. Generally we take double of it and it 's complimentary.. ; 3. If you are group, try curries. Curcharan Lebabdar are 2 best curries. I think you should not try Goan Malwani curries here (i didn 't find the taste authentic ... same about fish. Try any other chicken and veg dishes.. If you stick to north indian taste, it 's awesome.. local taste, not so much.. 4. After Biryani, they have 2 special deserts Shahi Tukda Friend Icecream . Tukda is really heavy, dont try alone. Fried Icecream is an experience. Children get addicted... this will cost you money forever .. my son forces me to go here every month.. so this is dangerous ; Recently their bar is closed.. otherwise even drinks are good with some nice accomplishments..

Manager is rude..most of the times chosen dishes aren't available ...maharashtrian food is good though..service is very slow...overall experience wasn't good

I stayed at Hotel lemongrass and almost always ate at The Clove restaurant because of the quality they provided. The food was always fresh and of superb quantity. Don’t forget to try the Goan/Malvani curry and the best part was the Serradura desert! It isn’t to die for!! Always ask Mr. Narayan for suggestions as he knows his way around the menu very well!

Best place to have malvani food but now service has gone down a little bit. Enjoy the Fish Thali and Mutton Thali.
