Contribuiți la feedbackI want in for a quick lunch. Lots of food on the menu, but no indication about which dishes are vegan. Upon asking the staff, they pointed to two dishes only I'm sure more are/could be made vegan, but honestly, I didn't feel like asking considering the lack of enthusiasm of the staff. So I went for the Plain Dosa without ghee. It was good. But I won't go back.
Prices are a bit higher and I don't feel they deliver. Still, the union Utthappam was interesting (lots of union in the pancake) and with the sauces it wasn't that bad. Bisi Bele Bath started with decent papadum chips that weren't so salty, but then the dish really was, not so tasty either. Also had the Wednesday Mix Veg. Aloo Bonda, which was just fatty fried dough with some curry stuffing.
After hearing so much about them, they have finally arrived in Malaysia. Authentic South Indian Vegetarian food. I wrote to them asking if they have vegan options since their food is famous for their ghee and this is their reply: Yes we offer vegan dishes. Yes to the above Kindly let the manager your preferences before you order : Yippee, vegans can also enjoy their food!! Animal Allies SG has provided this list and the Malaysia outlet has also confirmed all these can be vegan: • Plain idli with chutney and sambar • Vada • All dosa batter is vegan. Request to cook without ghee. • Upma • Set meals : Sambar/curries and side dishes or palya 's are vegan. Make sure to tell them no yogurt and milk sweet or ghee which comes in set meal as sides. • Lemon rice, Puliogere, Tomato rice are made with oil and not ghee. Ask to give chutney as side instead of yogurt or ghee. Parking can be found nearby at Kompleks TLK.
My absolute favourite place for thosai. SO crispy and tasty! Third time here and would continue to recommend friends and colleague. Thosai rawa, thosai masala, all authentic and just sings in my mouth.
Good indian food . Slightly pricey but worth every penny
