The fish pie is hearty and delicious, with tender flaky fish appearing like treasures beneath a bed of mash. Carrot and zucchini adds a welcome variety to this comfort meal. The creamed spinach was delicious too.
Overall, the food is not bad. They have a very wide selection of wine to choose from. The ambience is also very relaxing and comfy. Perfect place for a date or a simple family dinner. The ribs are highly recommended. The weekend menus seem more exciting though.
Celebrated a birthday here. Nice comfortable gastrobar. Typical British pub decor. Friendly attentive service. Prices are okay for what you get. Parking is reasonable depending on time of day. Nice quieter side of Bangsar. We tried 2 types of pork chops, fish chips fish pie. The chops were huge well cooked. Accompanying sides were yummy too. Fish chips just like in UK. Thick cuts light batter. Went well with their tartar sauce. Fish pie was interesting. Warm comforting. We washed it all down with cold beers stout. Overall a great meal. Will surely return.
Price, portion size, and overall quality of ingredients are fair and good. The pumpkin soup is thick, tasty, and soothing. Price is RM59 for the Sunday roast which is a great deal. Also, the food came out quick. But the gravy and roast was bland. I had to use a lot of salt and pepper. A LOT.
A great place for some British cruise... they have all the staples bangers and mash and traditional English breakfast. As a bonus they serve breakfast all day so you can have you fry up at any time of the day. The cocktails are pretty good too.
