Empire Sushi Avenue K - Kuala Lumpur

My first Nando’s experience let me to this location. Given it is situated in a mall, the ambience was quite nice. The music and decorations still worked its charme. The famous warm welcome and smile that Nandos likes to emphasize in its commercial was missing though. Staff was a practical and professional overall, but not truly engaging and friendly. The food presentation was also a bit sloppy and uninspired. Temperature and texture was good on the main, but average with the sides. Portions are not too big, given the price still in line what i expect, but not generous at all. Quality and taste were also good enough. Chicken was juicy and tender, but again, kinda in the smaller size. The boneless version still had bones. Overall a not disappointing experience, but only the theme and decorations set this chain apart from other chicken restaurants. Given i base my decision on where to eat on quality of food and service, i would probably not come back, but maybe order in.

The chicken has become progressively smaller. This is RM27 for such a small piece of chicken and so many wedges which are comparably way cheaper to cook. It used to be bigger. It tastes fine as usual but they need to stop stealing our money. Additionally they only accept card and online payment now. Do not waste your time coming here with cash.

Worse experience ever! Guests waiting outside no people serve. When walked in and seated, nobody told us to scan and order. After order sent, there was no clear message telling us need to pay first to confirm order. Ending up wasting time sitting. Lady staff attitude is worst ever! The one serving and the one cooking inside. After waited 40 minutes, no glass is served to get my beverage. When I check over counter, lady staff answered rudely if you want to refund, we have no problem in a threatening tone. WORST!

The restaurant had a warm and inviting atmosphere, with very friendly waitstaff. The food was tasty and the portions were just right for the price. Despite it being a busy lunch hour, we were seated promptly and our orders were taken quickly. I was impressed by the staff's attentiveness to special requests. Kudos to the waitstaff for their excellent service!

I always prefer to dine at Nando's Avenue K over Nando's KLCC for two reasons. Firstly, there are fewer people and I don't have to wait in long queues like I do at Suria KLCC. Secondly, the restaurant at Avenue K is more spacious and has a higher ceiling, making it a more comfortable dining experience. The food is typical of Nando's with consistent taste, unique decorations, and I especially like their new plates with a paint sprayer design.
