Saloma Nasi Lemak Panas Daun Pisang

We visited this restaurant based on a recommendation from hotel staff who suggested it for authentic Malay cuisine. As soon as we sat down, my son noticed a deceased cat not far from us, near the kitchen. Initially, we thought the cat was simply sleeping, but after a few minutes, we realized it was lifeless and in an unnatural position. The staff seemed to ignore the cat as they walked by. This unsettling situation led us to promptly leave the restaurant.

My boyfriend and his mom used to visit this restaurant for the amazing nasi lemak which served with temperature and banana leaf. I personally like to make my own combination of nasi lemak which is add on with a fried chicken! Good price with great food!

We visited this restaurant twice, and the first time it was closed. We tried the nasi lemak with duck and beef rendang during our visit. The dishes were edible and tasty, but we felt that they were not worth the half-hour walk each way. The portions were very small, and the taste was not significantly better than other dishes we have tried. The prices seemed to reflect the small portions. If you are in the Jetty area, it may be worth a visit, but our high expectations based on reviews were not met.

Well if you are starving for nasi lemak probably this is the best place you should visit in langkawi to have a plate of nasi lemak. Portion is not that big so you can try some ikan bakar next stall

15 hungry Children Adults came to Saloma for dinner. left Happy and satisfied. please note that it is at the end/beginning of the food court depends where you enter. Staff is fast and will serve you with a spring on their step. we had: Nasi Lemak Kukus. Stink Beans in Sambal was notibly delicious Fried Chicken which is fresh and nice. Rendang is good but overshadowed by other things 15 with drinks and nasi lemak chicken, stink beans, rendang... we paid about RM129 or USD 30. which i think is very affordable for relatively good food. Things to note. We found it closed in the morning/afternoon and we came back again in the evening. so we can only confirm it is open in the evening.
