Impressive building and surroundings. Very atmospheric. Food however average. Caesar salad was more like an ordinary mixed salad with s few slivers of parmezan and the fish dish could have been better. Mashed potato and spinach dish very good. Glas of Prosecco was totally flat. No fizz! Staff very friendly and helpful. But, taking into account the high prices, a rating of no more than Average has been given.

First class service paired with first class food. The setting is magical, you feel as if you are visiting royalty. I had the Tomahawk Pork and the baked potato with braised onions. Pork was perfection as was the accompaniments. Enjoyed the local wine to. I’d recommend this for any occasion

The last moments of my Europe trip was spent in this restaurant, so I could finish it properly! What a way to do it, amazing food and very nice staff! It's expensive, but that's what you pay for that amount of quality and exclusivity. If I ever come back to Kronberg im Taunus I'll sure come back to the Scholossrestaurant!

Wir hatten heute abend dort einen traumhaften Rochen mit Pürree und Spinat und einer göttlichen Sauce. Der Service: Absolut sicher. Das Publikum: Hervorragend, es herrscht ein leiser, sehr freundlicher Ton in der Umgebung. Der Chef des Restaurants: Herr Haverland, nimmt dem Ort jede falsche Prätentiösität. Es wird sehr schnell klar: Hier geht es um wirklich große Qualität, kein aufgesetztes Getue. In den wirklichen Spitzenrestaurants ist der Service immer sehr an der Erde und einfach menschlich freundlich. Es gibt für ein Abendessen am Samstag keinen besseren Ort in Rhein Main als das Schlosshotel Kronberg.
