Rotisserie Royale - Kröv

Fast and friendly service, a nice appetizer on the house, a gorgeus carpaccio for starter, and their calf liver was just beautiful. The Spätzle, however, was, albeit good, not quite as excellent as I would have expected, and their local red, well, good juice but not quite what I would like a red wine to be. I suggest you go for a good dry Riesling instead! Otherwise happy to recommend for your dinner in Bernkastel-Kues!

We were a group of 10 persons who drove from Frankfurt into Bernkastel-kues, on our way to wine tasting appointments in the area. We were a little short on time and the restaurant was able to serve us our food pretty quickly, alongside some wine with coffee to follow. All done within 60 minutes. We enjoyed a good seafood soup, and white and green asparagus with beef. The dessert of an assortment of ice cream and sherbet was sublime. Recommended.

The food was very good. I had rabbit, my wife had pasta with salmon in pesto sauce. Both dishes were served with fresh vegetables, and the plates were very nicely decorated. Good wine from the surrounding vineyards. Try the apple strudel for dessert :)

This one is very difficult to rate: some of the dishes were amazing like the pumpkin soup or the duck, other, like the vegetarian option, didn't make any sense and simply threw together a couple of fancy ingredients which didn't fit at all (gnocchi, warm...More

The food here was fantastic. So nice to have something different from schnitzel and bratwurst. We had lunches and dinners here and every meal was delicious. We also had some lovely wines recommended by Dorothy. Staff were friendly, efficient and helpful especially when our German wasn't quite up to scratch.
