Gaya Vegetarian - Kota Kinabalu

This newly opened vegetarian restaurant was announced to me when I visited kk city. Actually, I didn't try to eat it, but I went in to check the place. the environment is quite cozy. next to ala carte menu that I managed to grab, there are items at bain marie. there is also a small corner selling some items, but I didn't check it out. I just thought I could write my first comment, as I asked to share this new restaurant with the menus I grabbed. Visited this vegetarian restaurant and was pleased that they understand vegan very well. Note that milk is used in curry, tom-yum dishes, so make sure they ask them to exclude the milk for these dishes. the total service is in order, except one time that I was served by a very rude lady.

We ordered veggie lamb curry, veggie pork sweet and sour, and two tassen tee, costs about £4/€5. both dishes were tasty, not sure if the sweet and sour msg had. the service was good, eating came fast. it is vegetarian not vegan so they must be careful. not much soul, but we would come back if in the neighboring.

Chinese style vegetarian cuisine. the employees are aware of the difference between simple vegetarian and vegan nutritional requirements.

So nice to be able walk in and order anything on the menu without any modifications.
