Biru Biru Cafe - Kota Kinabalu

I absolutely love Biru; it's become my go-to hangout spot at this point hehe I HIGHLY suggest their carbonara or pesta pasta but switch out the protein for smoked duck GAH SO GOOD (u will need to add on a few bucks for the switch btw and if you're on a budget, their RM10 Fries are really really good too. Lest we forget their drinks, the Mojito here has one of the heaviest mint flavours I've tasted bc they muddle their mint and it's just the best Mojito I've personally tasted. Plus, their staff are so so friendly and nice :

Pretty place, comfy environment, good live band and affordable cocktails. Fantastic place to chill out with friends. Only downside, food menu was limited and further to that, few were unavailable during my visit. If you are looking for snacks or bar food, smoked duck bao and the deep fried calamari were good.

Best place for drinks and music we went to in KK. Live music was great on the first night. Baby calamari dish was excellent! All drinks were excellent...happy hour until 9pm was a great deal Pity staff outside are a bit cool for school and mostly on their phones. Just gotta prompt them for service

Nice ambience, cool live band but limited food options, menu is already limited and most of the items are unavailable.

Visited here several times during my trip to KK. Excellent cocktails for excellent prices. Great place to sit outside as dusk comes. Duck bao are also delicious.
