River Dance Lodge Idaho's Outdoor Adventure Resort

This is our third year on river dance. we stay in the glamping tents because they are really an experience: rob it in style. the staff is wonderful: jodi and her dog echo overlooked and pampered us with delicious food. it's peaceful. we went to rest, read, nap and swim in clearwater on the beach of three devil. this place is magical. we will make this an annual retreat. we highly recommend. go!

We had our little ones high time here and the staff was superb. so helpful and accommodating for us and all our guests the whole weekend. I wish the cafe was open, but they were helpful to let us store our stuff in their kitchen to work it. cabins are great and they were a little foolish without a/c, but it wasn't too bad. loved the place though and is the perfect place for a big group or just a weekend away with her loved one. in any case back.

This lodge looks amazing and is in a fabulous location. However, we decided not to stay there, because the cancellation policy is the most punitive and self-service we have ever seen in all our travels in the Usa and europa. the lodge does not refund any gelder, unless the reservation is cancelled a full thirty days prior to the stay, claims that they cannot book again if a reservation is made and later canceled. this seems absurd, especially during the high-tourist season. I called and asked if the directive should be applied if we paid for three days and hit a family emergency 28 days before our planned arrival; the lodge confirmed that we had the entire ca. $1,000, regardless of our reason. the worst cancellation policy we have met before was a full refund only when the room was rebooked. I hope that this public representation of this seemingly unethical policy calls for a more sensible cancellation policy for future travelers.

Beautiful place. we were tented in a glamping and we loved it. the service staff were all very nice and took the time to chat with us during our stay. the lochsa was amazing. all the other rivers seem a little less exciting now!

The staff was awesome and dinners included in our package were delicious. We stayed in a Glamping tent which was roomy with a comfy bed and the soaking tub out back was definitely a plus. We look forward to returning and plan to stay in a cabin next time.
