Anglerstuben - Konstanz

We received a very friendly welcome in the Anglerstuben restaurant. The service staff is very uncomplicated and extremely friendly. The various courses from the Bodensee menu were all perfectly seasoned and of excellent quality. What was particularly worth mentioning for me was the cormorant course something you don't get served every day. The wine list is very well sorted and offers wines at fair prices. All in all a wonderful experience.

Top evening, interesting and very lovingly combined and prepared dishes, extremely relaxed atmosphere and very friendly service. Since I can't sleep at the moment, I read the 1 star reviews: It seems to me that some people want to fail because of their own expectations : Some would obviously have preferred all-you-can-eat at the Vienna Woods, others understand under fine dining that the chef and staff can read minds. Anyone who is used to experiencing unusual things every day probably has a good chance of quickly becoming bitterly disappointed with life. Whatever the case, we really enjoyed every course. Every combination was a successful surprise! With 11 possible courses and 7 guests with 7 different tastes, being open to original combinations is a basic requirement if you want to enjoy your evening. In any case, we found the evening absolutely entertaining and worth repeating and thank you again for that :

The taste of the food was really excellent. Praise to the kitchen. The service was also very friendly and accommodating. However, the portion sizes were so tiny that I wasn't full despite 3 courses of bread, even though I can't manage a full main meal in any other restaurant. The prices were simply too high for that. I also think beetroot and celery puree on the children's menu is very daring. Luckily my daughter wasn't there : Price per person: €100+

The Anglerstuben create something extraordinary: They combine very well-executed dishes with particularly friendly service at the highest level and an unobtrusive, tasteful ambience.
