Little Beaver - Komoka

I absolutely love their pies! All of their baked goods are fantastic. I got a coconut cream pie for my mom's birthday, and it was superb—perfect crust and plenty of whipped cream on top. Plus, the prices are quite reasonable!

Firstly, we waited 20 minutes to be seated, despite seeing several open booths. Once we were finally seated, it took another 10 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us. An older woman with glasses eventually approached us to take our drink order. When my fiancée mentioned that we were ready to order food as well, she responded in a notably rude tone, simply repeating the question about our drink order. At that moment, we should have left, but we chose to stay since we were quite hungry and the food looked mediocre at best. There was no follow-up on our meal for another 10 minutes. It was only then that I managed to ask the server about my pancake, which they had forgotten to bring. I can understand occasional long wait times, but when you combine that with rude service and subpar food quality, it makes for a distinctly unpleasant dining experience. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.

I used to take my whole crew to this restaurant, but after finding a long, burnt hair in my home fries one day, I won’t be returning. When I showed the young waitress, she took the dish away but didn’t offer any replacement, even though I ate the eggs. To make matters worse, I was charged full price for all four meals. I won’t be going back again!

Old restaurant use to be great. New one has really gone down hill. Went for turkey dinner at thanksgiving and food was mediocre and expensive for what you got. Pecan pie was actually over done on the top (tasted burnt). Had to dig hard to even get through the crust. We were quite disappointed. Doubt if we will go back again.

My son ordered breakfast with hash browns/homefries….he got French fries! After delivering his breakfast…when questioned…the waitress said they ran out of hash browns/home fries one hour ago! He was never asked if he wanted the French fries or if he wanted something else instead since they ran out…just sent French fries! Is it not customary to ask if a substitute is okay or offer something else???I ordered a mushroom bacon burger…I got it minus the mushroom but charged for it anyway!First and last time I will visit this establishment!Driving a hour to get bad service!!!
