De Vos Cafe - Kolonnawa

Update from 10 May 2019. 1/5 stars as zero stars are not accepted new administration has taken over the place. only drinks are served. don't eat. not a cake or a desert. and then half of the drink menu is not available, and the drinks I got (kamel machiato and chocolate icestee) is in groundwater and ice with little taste. very disappointed was the seat as comfortable as before. but I'd rather sit at home. 5/5 stars from januar 2019 first, Yamu.lk must thank for this negative review. I would certainly not have noticed them if they weren't due to the rad publicity that checked their coffee? illuminated place? too good to be true. service? tight and personal. social media persona? best in sri lanka prices? too reasonable. food quality? too good. you should go? of course! menu? creativity with its best youthful youth. I'm looking forward to the next visit.

Devos cafe, is this just another cafe in cmb? the answer is not, they are always ready to give them a luxury cafe experience giving them caffe, again with their new menu and classic attention. they have focused on their interior designs to lift off from other caffeine that we have checked for breakfast. ordered my favorite drink cappuccino and their signature drink liquid sunshine, which comes a combination of ananas and orange mixed drink naked chicken alfredo taco, which comes completely crazy with seasonal roast chicken taco dish filled with classic penne alfredo and they can choose either salat or fries for the side. that was so amazing and cheeky. the other main dish was her eggplant channel, it comes with fresh modha fish served with their signature ash plantain fries. not much of a fan of fishing, but the Mayo mix that in small dish type of balanced fish taste and the ash plantain fries were really good devos caffe is such a beautiful place, unique eating and friendly service they also have very tasty looking cakes and baked were that I missed this time because my bauch was full, but I will not try this next

Five star service and food quality. the place is relaxing and has a great environment. friendly staff with fast service. I hope I'll come to visit earlier.

De Vos cafe is a cafe adjoining the newest boutique hotel-Talo Urban. Food-First we ordered the naked chicken penne alfredo taco (rs.990 which is a seasoned fried chicken taco shell filled with classic penne alfredo served with salad or fries.. This was soooooo goood!! It was creamy and nice!! The flavors were well balanced!! Chicken shawarma (rs540 was just meh..it was just a wrap with thin sliced chicken and veggies inside and this was served with french fries and sauce.I reallyyy expected the shawarma to have mayo inside.. Ambience-The place is spacious and cozy. They have giant comfy sofas,wooden furniture along with a bookshelf (guess what they have asterix they have got good wifi (the password is mentioned on a board and also they have a smoking lounge.. It's a good to meet up with your loved ones,friends also it's a good place to do some work while having a coffee Service- it took some time for us to get our food even though we were the only ones who were there at that time -i guess they were getting ready with the open mic. Anyway the overall experience was good!! #irecommend

This is a Coffee place with very good food. The servings were large with decent pricing. Also the interior was well thought of. Of course they could improve a lot on the coffee and the time to deliver the order. It was great value for money.
