The only best Restaurant in Kollam with all types food. The buffet lunch and dinner are super with variety of fish items , chicken, beef etc. Veg section also super.

A great star hotel for family fine dining. Facing the beach, the view is excellent. You can have very good excellent food here. As told, we had Grilled Lobster which was excellent. Note but costly.

Rooms were a welcome luxury for us on our budget travels of south India. Set us up nicely for 16 hour train journey the following day. Amazing view of the beach from our comfortable room and extra large bed so spent much of the day relaxing and enjoying the facilities out of the heat. Although the restaurant service was very attentive and upper class, we felt the food itself was overpriced and fairly average in comparison to some of the 'rougher ' style Indian food we enjoyed on our trip. Pool looks great but with no shade or umbrellas we felt more comfortable relaxing in our room.

We ate at the Black Gold Restaurant several times during our stay at the the hotel which the restaurant is attached to. The food was tasty and authentic. We mostly had their buffet. It offers a good choice of Kerala dishes they all tasted great. My father ordered the grilled lobster and he loved it. The service at the restaurant is warm, attentive and yet unobtrusive. The Manager, Anderson, runs a tight ship. Compliments to the chef as well. The restaurant has an extensive a la carte menu.

We stayed at The Quilon Beach hotel for 2 weeks and this restaurant is in the hotel. The food was so good that we on most of the days we had breakfast, lunch and dinner in this restaurant. All the restaurant staff are very good including the restaurant manager and Anjali. Thank you for looking after us and serving the food to our liking. We hope to visit you again in future.
