Shinryu Restaurant Bar - Kolkata

This place was ok. Ambience was quite good. Food quality was also ok. Service was really poor. We had to wait like an hour for our food. Alcohol price is also too high.

The place is clean and large enough. The ambience is authentic Chinese, which includes decorations. The restaurant gave good service, although the mixed salad we ordered didn't have cucumber. Rest of the dishes we ordered included Veg fried rice, Singapore chicken and veg munchurian. Another issue with the place is that the bar and restaurant aren't separated. So in situations where the restaurant is crowded with people who are drinking, it's difficult to eat with family.

I've visited this place a few days back. The experience was the worst. I've ordered mixed fried rice and sweet sour chicken. The rice was so blunt and soggy. The chicken was good but, the veggies which were served with the chicken were disgusting. When I tasted the dish, I've realized that they served actually fermented vegetables. I mean seriously?? Also, the gravy tastes as it is served on sugar syrup only. What's wrong with them?? I've already tested the same dishes in many places before even at a cheaper price. The only dish I liked was Crispy chili garlic chicken. That was served hot and fresh. One more thing I want to highlight is hygiene. Flies and mosquitos were roaming everywhere in the restaurant. Not only for this pandemic situation, generally we can expect some basic hygiene. I mean Shinryu have you lost your mind?? The total experience is a big 0. I never want to visit this place again in my life. and I will recommend everyone not to go there for at least lunch or dinner. Thank you so much for everything.

Good food great environment and the best for locals for comfortable and simple dinner and also great for sudden plans and comfort service

An authentic Chinese dish based restaurant, very huge and its for the family, so if you want to spend some good time with good music and decoration, this is your place that has food here a lot of variety, there is menu offering amazing desserts and wines, bear whisky (including expensive) the service is good, but the quality of food is low, I ordered both American chiopsey and got some garlic based noodles. Overall, this place is aura good, but they need to lower the price and use good quality food. Overall Rating-4/5 there is also plenty of space to park vehicles delicious food with excellent staff service. You can think about coming back if you want to taste a certain type of kitchen. 4 stars: Delicious food, positive atmosphere, helpful staff and brilliant service. A good cook understands the needs of your guests and works well with the kitchen staff to ensure that guests receive their meal as they have ordered it every time.
