Mumbai has the same template for khichdi across places and most of it is disappointing. While the matka might be a gimmick here, the khichdi is exceptional. I have tried at least 6 different ones and have not been disappointed. The thecha too is really good.

Matka Khichdi is very well known outlet in Marol for it's Khichdi. I ordered Kolhapuri Khichdi and it turned out perfectly spicy. I took add on of Thecha which was exactly how it is prepared and should taste like with Khichdi. Chaas was fresh and so refreshing, perfect to go with all the other things spicy. Totally recommended to try Khichdi from such great variety.

Total Amount for the Bill paid is 297/ however the Bill was of 249/ Plus 20/ as tip.Then 28/ Re paid for what is questionable.

I ordered dadi ki panchmel khichadi and believe after ages I had eaten such a delicious khichadi..loaded with pulses, high fibre and ghee makes it a perfect meal. Not much spicy and perfect tint of each spice.<br/ <br/ #food #foodlover #khichdi #foodforlife
