Zimmermann's - Köln

Der Laden war mal echt lecker. Heute seit Längerem mal wieder bestellt: Nicht-bestellte Saucen auf dem Burger, Fleisch verbrannt, Käse hart (Pattie lag wohl länger), Brot trocken/verbrannt. Definitiv das Geld nicht (mehr) wert. ‍♂️ Ärgerlich.

This place is trying to ride the burger bar fad badly. The burgers were really nothing special: mediocre and overcooked meat, unfitting buns, overpowering sauces, etc. The fries were OK. The staff is nice. Not a bad experience per se, but don't expect much of the food.

Der Mann an der Theke kassiert, macht die salate und belegt die burger - mit den händen ohne handschuhe, hönde waschen oder ähnliches. Finde ich schwierig. Guten appetit!

Jedes Veedel hat seinen top burgerladen und Zimmermanns ist in der Ecke einfach gut. Etwas ungewohntes Konzept mit Hotel, Nachtclub & Burger unter einem Dach...aber Why Not nicht super urig aber Grab a burger to Go und ab in den Stadtgarten

We enjoyed our stay at the Zimmermann's in Cologne due to the really nice people working there and the creative and delicious burgers served. Having said to I not thing that the burger joint is a able to compete with Top 5 spots in town. One of the main reasons being that the sides (sweet potato fries and coleslaw) were average at best, somewhat dry. A got place and decent burger when you're looking for one, but all in all average in the days of premium burgers places rising...
