Gut Wistorfs - Köln

Not far from the local garden area and not far from the historic bridge town centre, there is a not adventurous place of the good-bourgeois Wohlseyns: the Wistorfs. Especially in the beautifully rebuilt former barn of the former property, decorative memories meet the former very rural character of this district in Cologne Far East. Overnight, eight singles and five double rooms in rural style and from 72 euros are available in the listed mansion of the property. In the beautiful season, the courtyard becomes the parasol summer terrace. Parking is possible with good luck directly at the hotel or at Olpener Straße or, if necessary, on the nearby market place. But we wanted to go to dinner. For this purpose, homemade cakes are provided in the café and a very opulent Bergische coffee table is provided when booking 12 people. The kitchen of the house is dedicated to the refined regional and international specialties. These include hearty sluices for me roasted potatoes, Scottish smoked salmon, carvings with (cro-chain) pommes dauphines, vegetables, pasta and vegetarians. My lamb fillet Provencale proves to be tasty and firm, but would not have to be drowned in heavy dark sauce. Opposite there were excellent Tagliatelle Amatriciana with lots of chili and smoke ham. Good wine from the country of origin of the main dishes. The panna cotta was successful and the cheese selection plus baguette and butter of great variety and mass modes hardly to cope with. Better to choose one of them. The pricing is reasonable and by no means overpriced. We have experienced the service flink and friendly, the premises are considered well maintained and apart from some decorative elements (artificial flower decoration) stylish. It would have been possible that the luggage went next to the house bar, but there were others. Despite the incomplete examination of the comfort of the house, however, a recommendation can be taken without consideration. with kind regards, Mr Thomas

Man braucht mal manchmal eine Pause um sich zu stärken, auszuruhen oder den Tag gleich ganz ausklingen zu lassen. Und wo geht das im Sommer besser als unter freiem Himmel? Wenn man sich wohlfühlen möchte, dann ist dieses Restaurant mit einem herrlichen Garten immer ein Besuch wert. Hier gibt es mehrere Biersorten zur Auswahl, nette Bedienung, schneller Service und super leckeres Essen.

Wenn man ab von der Hauptstraße auf einem versteckten Hof gemütlich draußen mit Kollegen essen und trinken kann, hat es etwas. Die Lokale ist schön und das Personal freundlich, wenn die Bestellungen aber durcheinander gewürfelt wird, die Bedienungsdame die ganze Gäste des Restaurants allein versorgen muss, und das Essen nur durchschnittlich aber langweilig auffällt, hält sich das Vergnügen in Grenzen.
