Great hotel, even better restaurant. Variety of dishes. The food is very delicious, the service super friendly. Only in the evening the restaurant has a great flair. View of the Rhine in the middle of the old town, feel very comfortable. I can only recommend it.

Were two nights in a large, cozy room with Rhine view. The room was not top modern (which I had not expected), but very clean and with everything you need. All staff very friendly and helpful. The location was great for us!

I came with my companion on Saturday, 22.02.2020 very spontaneously to the lion's brown. I felt like the past when the sailors came in. The place with the ground floor and the 1st floor was really cozy. The menu, service and food convinced me. As a highlight, I want to take the humor and kindness of the service staff. The food was very good, the potatoes unfortunately slightly salted. The selection of dishes is great. Under the week, at the current Corona times, few visitors. The waiter has done us with his spits and his open way. We're coming back.

If you want to sit on the Rhine, you can recommend the lion brown as a Cologne. The food is a bit more expensive due to the situation. But good. Friendly service.
