It‘s a German coffee-house, which you will find also in a similar style in Berlin posh regions like Kreuzberg or Prenzlauer Berg. Cozy atmosphere, big windows, quick service and tasty breakfasts, coffees and home-made cakes. Peak-times on weekends between 10 and 12 a.m. should be avoided. Great place to relax and to read your newspaper.
The venue is located in the student’s quarter of Cologne. Parking on the street is possible but the available parking lots are often occupied. They have an outside and an inside dining area. The outside area is on the pavement. We had drinks, a Quiche Lorraine and a chocolate ice cream cup. The food was good, the drinks too. Service was kind and quick enough.
We had a Light Lunch there. Vegan options are fairly plenty. Lentil coconut soup was very good. Soy Latte macchiatto was also good..
This place has a nice, relaxed atmosphere. The staff is friendly. We had a great breakfast here and on another evening a little bite to eat (a spinach quiche and for desert kasekuchen and apfelstrudel), all of it unpretentious and good.
Pleasant atmosphere and delicious food at fair prices. On the picture is Spätzle with chickens and vegetables (8,80€ as a lunch menu. We like to come back.
