We stumbled on this cafe yesterday evening while actually looking for another we had been directed to but could nt see in the rain and dark . They had some lovely veggie options on the menu but we chose a veggie option of the tapas platter for two to share . It was deliocius , full of complimentary flavours , fresh and just right for our appetite . The rosemary bread was really tasty and with good qualty olive oil . Very reasonable at €21 . More than enough to eat . I chose a tempranillo wine to Comliment it . Lovely . The staff were very helpful and friendly . The cafe full of atmosphere . Interesting decor with spectaculr chandaliers made from recycled material . To see them alone is worth a visit . Our custom was grealtly apprecited and we departed feeling fully satisfied. would highly recommend .
Nice café in the middle of one of the main shopping streets in Cologne, next to a Renzo Piano building. It actually belongs to a church, and it´s spacious but also quiet and chilled. A good place to have a break and drink a good latte macchiato. The food is also ok.
After a morning going around the Christmas markets we were tired and hungry. We didn't know what to expect but this restaurant certainly delivered. The other diners were mostly German but the waitress spoke good English and the menu was translated. We both had a burger with rosemary flavoured sauté potatoes. Delicious! We also had a very good glass of Merlot. We really enjoyed our lunch and would recommend this restaurant. We both thought it was reasonably priced.
Trendy place in the heart of the shopping area. Friendly and obliging staff. Three of us had trout which was deliciously grilled. And one of us had filet de Loup. Very fine taste. Nice glass of Riesling and German sauvignon blanc accompanied the food. Unfortunately nowadays in these trendy places you'll find hard wooden chairs. Not very inviting at all. But maybe it's the restaurants purpose to get rid of you as soon as possible ;-)
