We had to ask him if we could get a table after having eye contact with him while looking at the menu at the wall for a few minutes. I ordered a ribeye but the meat was completely grey and overcooked. The vegetables where raw. The other waiters where really good and made us feel welcome. I can understand that one person is having a bad day but when both the waiter and the kitchen didn't deliver we felt really bad for spending our time and money at the restaurant.
When in Copenhagen I have gone to this place and was very happy with both service and food. That changed this July 2023! Went for lunch. Lots of hamburger dishes, nothing Danish like open faced sandwiches . I ordered the Tapa plate and received some smoked salmon, and two other ingredients, which did not impress me! In fact the whole plate did not impress me at all. Combined with slow service and high prices, I will not return ever! As I mentioned in the beginning I had been here before, now I was told the menu which I could have guessed had changed about 6 month prior to my visit. Nobody apologized that I was unhappy with my visit!
Had our first Copenhagen dinner at Katz. My chicken fettuccini was hot, very tasty and plentiful. My wife’s goat cheese salad was equally good. Both our wine and food came quickly. Top marks for Katz.
All fresh. No complaints at all. Everything was delicious and how you would want it. Fried egg: crispy and runny yolk, avocado: creamy, scrambled eggs: jummy, fried sausage: flavorful. EVERYTHING AMAZING. Very happy we went there.
Visited with my husband and 4 year old and left three empty plates. We had the chicken and steak sandwiches, and my daughter had the penne with sirloin and everything was delicious especially the pasta, creamy, plenty of steak and cooked perfectly. We went late afternoon and it was a lovely, relaxed atmosphere with friendly, helpful staff. Would very much recommend Katz and would definitely return if I’m ever in Copenhagen again.
