District Tonkin - Koebenhavn

Our walking tour ended at Amalienborg and we wanted some reprieve from the cold, so we Googled the nearest restaurants and decided on District Tonkin. The restaurant itself has a great vibe, was nice and warm, and the service was friendly, albeit a bit slow. We all ordered the beef Phở. The portion was generous, but the soup itself was just average lacking in flavour. However, as their house beer is quite good and everyone else seemed to enjoy themselves, we will definitely give them another shot when we're back in Copenhagen.

We had two meals here whilst in Copenhagen. We were trying to look for somewhere affordable but with good food. This place met our needs. We enjoyed the food, they catered for vegetarians as well as meat eaters and you could buy separate items with sauce on the side which suited one family member who wasn’t sure how spicy it would be. I’m so glad we found this place!

Great food and location just across from a metro station. Seating area had large tables often shared. Ordering is at the bar. Good menu. We had the pho and a rice salad, both were really good. Prices were reasonable. Nice atmosphere. Will be back!

Polite and helpfulm staff. Really fast service and brilliant bahn mi. Spicy sauce, tender bbq prok and crunchy baguette, topped with a whole bouquet of koriander. perfect for lunch or dinner!
