We visited this location on Thursday, 28 May 2015 at 1900. We found the restaurant entrance between two store fronts and walked up the stair to the 2nd floor establishment. We were friendly greeted, as we came into the restaurant.I had made a reservation earlier but since there were not many people in the restaurant, we had a choice of tables. We chose a table near the window and we immediately noticed the view of Löhrstrasse, Löhr-Center in Koblenz and Herz-Jesu Church just across the street.Of course from the name one can tell that the kitchen is Chinese. The menu was very easy to read and understand. In fact, we had looked at the On-line Menu before we arrived. Also available on the Menu are, soups, salads, fish and vegetarian meals. The atmosphere is pleasant and the restaurant nicely decorated, but not particularly Chinese. The tables had cloth napkins, but no candle or plant/flowers on them. Inside the restaurant, it was dark and quiet. Of course, it was quiet inside because there were not too many guests in the restaurant. However, because of the sound absorbing carpet, walls and ceiling it would still stay relatively quiet inside with more people in the room. There was nice Chinese music playing in the back ground. On several occasions we had some small problems with the language. We had a coupon and asked if the soup counted as an appetizer but our server didn’t understand the question. I asked for a small coke but got a medium sized one instead. Plus, we ordered 1 Tomato Soup with Chicken and 1 Spring Roll but got 2 Spring Rolls. Then when we paid the bill, I round the sum off for the tip and the server got the change all wrong. However, as an American talking to a Chinese in German, the language situation was a small problem. Our two Spring Rolls came nice and very hot. Then as we were done with our appetizer, the hot burner was put on our table and we received two plates. The plates could have been warmed, but they were not. So, we placed them on the hot burner, ourselves until the main entrée came; which was just a minute later. My partner asked for extra sweat and sour sauce and got some heated in a bowl, without an extra cost.I had the Rice with chicken and my partner had the Rice with duck. Both dishes came hot and steaming, as it should be. I tasted both dishes and can report that both were very good. The restaurant is roomy and well organized concerning space. However, one can only sit inside, there is no outside seating. The prices are average, fair, and the portions are adequate. The restaurant was clean. We were also friendly wished a pleasant day, as we finished paying the bill. However the receipt states ’Lucky Palace’, which later when, I took it out of my pocket, confused me, for a second or two.The restaurant has no parking lot, so one has to go hunting for a parking space on the street or in the park house, if they want to have the privilege to eat at this restaurant. So, because of its convenience this is a very good place to eat when shopping near the Löhn-Center or in the pedestrian zone. The Internet page is very well organized and informative with the Menu On-line, but it is only in German.Summary: Based on taste, price, service, and atmosphere, overall this restaurant receives a good recommendation, however it is nothing special. However, we will both be back to this place to enjoy another meal due to convenience, when we are shopping near the Löhn-Center or in the pedestrian zone.

I was here again today after a shopping trip. the restaurant seems to have been renamed to lucky palace. but I had the impression that it's just as personal as before. I have been here very often in the midday and have always chosen the buffet for 6,90 €. the selection of food and the quality were always in order. for 6,90 € I don't expect a buffet with a buckling taste. Nevertheless, here everyone can be tasty satt incl. suppe, sweet, salad, early roll, noodle, rice, various meat dishes. personal friendly. beautiful view from the 1st floor on the coblen and touris, which are flooded by.
We were already closed to the buffet at the time of ordering, whereupon we suspected that on the part of the kitchen there was no desire to prepare main dishes à la carte at all. So we decided to choose the buffet - unfortunately a really bad decision. the buffet was already as good as empty, eating cold and it was actually not filled up (we were there at 19:30 on a Sunday, so still quite early). also the selection was very small. the service was absolutely unfriendly and the prices measured on the shameful performance was an absolute cheerfulness. we are very annoyed and will never go back there. definitiw not recommended!
I've been there for more then 4 times, the most reason is cheap for a meal. The food on the menu are not suggested, for a native chinese I can't be believe why could they selling something like those. Absolutely bad cooking.
