I really enjoyed my experience at this restaurant. The owner is very kind and the portion sizes are generous. We tried the mushroom satay, which was decent, the delicious red 'duck' curry, and the great penang tofu curry. I will definitely be returning to this place.
We have visited this restaurant multiple times while staying on Kohpangan and we highly recommend it. The menu features a variety of delicious Thai dishes, with generously sized portions that are packed with fresh vegetables, including herbs straight from the garden. The owner, who is also the chef, is incredibly attentive, making sure each dish is tailored to our preferences and remembering our likes each time we return. Due to Covid, the owner works solo, so the food may take some time, but it is well worth the wait to support this kind lady and her business.
I gave the chef one hour to prepare a simple Thai dish for takeout. When I returned, I was told to wait another 20 minutes. I could have cooked a three-course meal for 8 people in that time. This was unacceptable service and frankly just laziness.
Went here after hearing only good things, but was disappointed. I had the hummus/pita plate. The hummus had little taste and the pita was too chewy. Vegetables was good tho and the only thing I could eat. My bf tried the chicken burger (first time trying vegan chicken and neither of us was impressed... It tasted gross to him and he could not eat it, I tried to eat it too (because who wants to throw away food? but it really was not good. The fries were soggy. Walked out hungry, emded up going to another restaurant. Went back and had the vegan breakfast, not really good and the hashbrowns was too oily. However found out they had the most amazing chocolate shake! They also use store bought juice (not fresh homemade not good... And plastic straws.
