Thung Yee Peng Seafood - Ko Lanta

Great local fresh seafood and local Thai restaurant in Lanta Island. Sitting in the floating bamboo hut next to Mangrove cools us during the hot sunny day. Food is great and locals here. The local chef would cook food on our request or on the menu itself to ensure that the food is delicious and fresh for us. We were so happy with their food, service and sensual environment. Avoid busy and long waiting hours, try to contact them before visiting.

We had a perfect day thanks to this beautiful family who picked us up, took us on a wonderful boat tour through the mangroves towards the open sea and served us a delicious lunch in their restaurant! Everything was so relaxing and the family is very friendly and hospitable. 100% recommend booking one of their tours!

It’s a hidden restaurant with fresh seafood, totally worth the short walk. We had a grilled crab, a steamed crab, a few tiger shrimps and a salad, all tasted very fresh and flavorful.
