Uncle Maddio's Pizza Joint - Knoxville

I had a fantastic experience! The owner was very involved in making the pizza, which was wonderful to see. It's clear that he is truly dedicated to his restaurant, not just financially, but also through his hard work! I highly recommend it.

I absolutely love Maddio's pizza and salads! My personal goal is to sample every pizza they offer at least once. I appreciate that they also have a sweet treat on their menu. The customer service is consistently top-notch as well!

Maddio's Pizza has quickly become our favorite spot for pizza. Everything we've tried there has been fantastic, and they have the best soft-baked chocolate chip cookies anywhere! Additionally, Maddio's often hosts events during the school year to raise funds for a local elementary school, which I really appreciate seeing from local businesses!

Extremely fast!. I've never had a fresh pizza made and cooked this fast! Greek salad is excellent and a value at 2.99. Gluten free crust is an option for 2.00 more. <br/ <br/ Considering there is no server, you save another 18 percent.<br/ <br/ Definitely recommend.

Good Pizza, Order Process Jacked Up. I 've eaten at Maddio 's twice, both times, pizza and Caesar salad was good. They serve Lusianne brewed sweet tea--a plus in my book!<br/ <br/ What isn 't so good--there is a lot of confusion behind the counter, e.g. the pizza maker is constantly repeating his 'build ' to another employee at the first register who has CRS. The guest believes they are ready to pay at the first register and then doesn 't--this one is where the salads are ordered. Finally, at the second register, the guest pays. It 's really confusing.<br/ <br/ What is really bad--some of their food handlers don 't know they cannot pull their pants and boxers up with food prep gloves on and then handle the food. One employee [kid] pulled his stuff up 4-5 times during the time we were going down the ordering line. My suggestions--buy a d*mn belt or pair of pants that actually FIT you, managers and other team leaders need to pay attention to these nimrods who don 't understand Food Handling 101.<br/ <br/ I 'll go back--the food is good--but I 'll also say something the next time I see this behavior.
