I ordered a Malaysian eating (similarly saucated curcuma, such a thing) the hunch was over boiled and hard to grow. very small and simple plate, little comminuted plank and dried and dark sauce. I talk to the waiter, he said they can add fresh sauce. they changed by $18. they feel pain in my mouth.
I had the chicken curry basilikum lomein and it was from the chain! spicy yes, but I have a moderately high tolerance for spicy and the spicy was exactly right! friend had the chicken pillow thai without dignified and it was also incredible! spicy also, but perfectly sharp. Perhaps the size of the padthai could have been bigger, but honestly, the size for me was just right. fill but not too much to eat! I also recommend eating! so juicy and atmospheric. I feel like I'm moving out, there's no great representation of the food. our food was served when we were hot to pierce!
Plum Tree was a favorite of mine for years, but after moving further east, it wasn't as convenient. I ordered tonight since I was nearby. It was like greeting an old friend all my favorites were still as wonderful. I ordered soup, eggrolls, amazing crab ragoon, beef brocolli. Did I mention the crab ragoon? NO ONE makes them like this! They even gave me sweet sour sauce for dipping! Will be back soon!!!
Best Chinese takeout place in Knoxville as far as I’m concerned. If you like beef and broccoli, this is the place to get it: Plum Tree’s beef is always perfect. You’ll never get weird texture or a funny taste. Well run business, friendly staff A+
Late one evening we were driving the pike after some shopping, looking for a Chinese restaurant to stop at for dinner. One of our party noticed the Plum Tree on the left, and we pulled into the small parking lot in front. Sure, the building itself seemed a bit worn, but I thought the interior decor and layout of the place showed an interesting character that one doesn't see in a lot of the more modern metro kind of Asian eateries. Most importantly, the service was prompt and polite, and the meals were tasty and ample. I was glad we found the Plum Tree that evening, and we won't hesitate to stop there again next time we're passing through.
