Little Bangkok - Knoxville

This is the best Thai food in the city! They truly know what spicy means, which is fantastic!

Not worth it. We visited this restaurant twice, and both times, we found the food to be mediocre and overpriced. For nearly $20 per person, we expected a much better meal. It's also the only Asian restaurant in the area that offers everything à la carte. If you order a dish like sweet and sour chicken or sesame chicken, that's all you get for $15. If you want rice or noodles to accompany it, you'll have to pay an additional $3 to $5.

I've only tried takeout from this restaurant. Recently, I ordered pad thai with egg as my protein. The dish was delicious and stayed hot even after I waited a while to eat it, but honestly, it was mostly just a container of noodles for $14.19. The portion size was large for a single serving, but not enough for leftovers. I also wish that one particular server would ease off on the intense eye contact and insistence on the tip line every time I come in; I always leave a tip with my carryout, especially since I worked in the front of the house at a restaurant for 15 years.

Quick lunch. Everything was very fresh. Husband had the happy family and the quality of the scallops was better than expected! I had the daily special which was green curry over udon noodles with shrimp. The sauce to noodle ratio was good and it was wellmixed so each bite had a nice coating. I think for the regular rice version they put in more veggies though. They are not jokingwith the spice! My curry was a 3 and my nose was sweating. Their Tom kha is also nice and tangy. Tried the basil rolls and oneentrée came with a spring roll both were standard and solid.

Very cozy environment! I had ordered pad thai and it was simple and delicious. Prices are fair and portions are great! I'd definitely always come out with extra food while feeling full. Only complaint is I'd asked for very spicy and got not spicy atall. Would reccomend.
