Best pie ever! The bacon pie. The food is always amazing. Love the small town atmosphere and great service. My favorite Lagrange stop.
Stumbled upon this restaurant while waiting to make a video of the train on main. As an ex fine dining restaurant owner in NYC I have very high standards when dining out. But this place hit the mark on everything. First off restaurant was at 80% capacity at least and we still received very attentive and personal service from our waiter Carter. Food was served promptly hot and fresh. My steak was cooked rare to perfection, the beans and bacon mashed were perfect. Both deserts the deep fried banana and the creme brûlée was creative and full of flavor. All of this was less than half what you would have paid in a fancy restaurant in a major metropolitan. I would say this place is 100% worth visiting if your in La grange or from anywhere near its worth the drive.
Tyler was awesome.. Filet Mignon Rueben wontons were excellent. The restaurant is small, but quaint and was very clean. Tyler served us and was friendly and attentive. Things you should know: they serve beer wine only and portions are huge so consider sharing.
A Nineteen West. Thanks for serving and hosting us in your restaurant. We stopped there while we traveled from Toronto to Memphis Tennesse. I stopped in this city after seeing some YouTube videos about LaGrange. It was a great culinary experience. The young man who served us was absolutely incredible. He was friendly and knew the menu well. He didn't let me go without crumbling her famous bacon. The food was so good that I wanted to try everything. I could even take a trip down from here. It was one of my best memories of our trip. The mayor also came by to welcome our family and officially welcomed us in LaGrange.
