Contribuiți la feedbackHave been there on a many occasions and always enjoyed the food. Family nights, including two 5 and 6 year old girls. They enjoy the food with us. The place is very quiet and the atmosphere could be better. The owners are a young couple who do good food but do not take advantage of promoting themselves. Hence, not many people know about it. More people eating there would be good for them. It is in The Basin opposite the Fire Station,. Trip Advisor does not identify the Basin as a place so Boronia comes up on the search.
Thai Square is one of those small, out of the way, family run Resturants in the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges. The decor isn't flash, but it is clean and neat and the service is very good. The big point with this resturant is the food. Excellent traditional Thai food.It is family run, so be prepared to be welcomed by their little children rushing to show you their drawings or lastest game they have invented.Wine list is limited, but licenced to BYO.Summary: Inexpensive, tasty food with good variety, excellent service in a clean and neat environment.
I dined at Mountain Thai and ordered a gluten-free stir fry (satay), which they verified was indeed gluten-free after I asked several questions.
This restaurant serves the best pad Thai I have ever had! The ingredients were fresh and the vegetables had a nice crunch to them.
My partner, who is very knowledgeable about Thai cuisine, declared that the pad Thai at this restaurant is as good as it gets. And I agree, it truly is exquisite.
