Used to serve Tapas but in recent times are concentrating on Indian style street food at a cheaper price point that it's sister Restaurant, Saffron Cottage. Have dined there twice recently and some dishes really excellent. Loved the Masala Dosa which came with flavour packed condiments and Dahl for dipping. YUM. was disappointed when I ordered it as a take away it didn't come with as many condiments. The coriander salsa is a must; but a little bit goes a long way. Also tried the mild chicken and fish curries which were creamy and delicious but lacking a bit of flavour for my taste. Devilled calamari was quiet nice, although I'm sure the calamari was frozen although the waitress had assured me it was fresh prior to ordering. The stand out for me was the chicken and veg Kottu Roti. Really fresh and flavourfull. This restaurant has a lovely cosy ambience and service is good. I will definitely go back and try more of their tasty food.
Le Miraaj is a great venue for a drink and tapas with friends. The staff are awesome and always greet customers with a welcome smile. Reasonably priced and a relaxed atmosphere in the heart of Tecoma.
Have been here several times before and we had enjoyed it every time, We took my father and brother there last night (13/02/2016) and we're extremely disappointed with the service and the meal sizes. The pork sliders are now $8 for one and all the other dishes have been reduced in size, and had to wait over 45mins for the first dish. We shared our concerns with the manager/owner and were shocked at the response very rudely we were told we meals haven't changed and they were very busy (about 15 people there) it is to be expected to have wait. We left hungry as it was 21:30 and 2 dishes were yet to come out..extremely disappointed and won't be going back
Le Miraaj is a tiny restaurant with an amazing offer. The food is a fusion of muti-cultural influences with every dish a perfect example culinary creativity. I love the concept of small share plates which leave me in control of the amount of food I eat. No need to guzzle an entire bottle of BYO wine- the house wines can be purchased by the glass and are first class.
