Hanayori Japanese - Klamath Falls

The food is good; this is the better of the two Japanese restaurants in town. However, the place is often understaffed, and the servers struggle to manage the busy environment. You might find yourself turned away due to a lack of available tables, or you may have to wait 20-30 minutes for a table to be cleared, as there’s only one server on duty. I recommend opting for takeout to avoid the wait and the awkward interactions with the staff. Just double-check that your rolls are properly assembled when you place a to-go order.

Fantastic sushi at a reasonable price! The waitress was very helpful and offered great suggestions for drinks and dessert after our meal (we were looking for birthday cake instead of mochi). The dining area is somewhat small, so keep that in mind if you're planning to bring a large group. We'll definitely be back!

There was only one server, and we had to wait quite a while to be seated. The agedashi tofu was heavily coated in flour, making it difficult to enjoy the tofu itself. The sushi rice was overcooked, and the overall ambiance felt uninspired. The waitress was extremely friendly, but it was clear that she was a bit overwhelmed. Additionally, not all tables were occupied due to COVID restrictions, which seems unnecessary at this stage. Overall, it's not a place I would choose to return to.

Really good sushi and the portion sizes are very generous. Highly recommended. Our server was very attentive and kind so we left him a big tip for being so great ????

There was only one server and it took a long time to seat us. Agedashi tofu was covered in way too much flour I had to dig the tofu out to just eat that. Sushi rice was overcooked. Ambience was bland. Waitress so super friendly but could tell she was a little overwhelmed. Not all tables were used due to covid which is redundant at this point. Not a spot I would revisit.
