Basin Martini - Klamath Falls

Delicious! After a long day of travel, we were looking for a fantastic cocktail and a satisfying dinner, not fast food. Basin Martini Bar was a great discovery on Yelp! The atmosphere was unique, blending old and new with a fantastic vibe. We tried two cocktails from the special Valentine's drink menu - one whiskey-based and the other a margarita. Both were well-balanced, creative, and reasonably priced. We shared the Artichoke dip appetizer, which was creamy and delicious. We quickly ran out of the crostini and our server promptly brought us more. My husband loved his Scallop dish and my Tri-tip was cooked to a perfect medium rare with a flavorful chimichurri. Our server was efficient and knowledgeable. Overall, we had a great experience and highly recommend giving it a try!

We had a wonderful dinner with friends at this restaurant. Even though we didn't have reservations, we were seated right away. The cocktail menu offered a wide variety of original choices, and my Hot Mess cocktail (made with jalapeno tequila, strawberry puree, lime, and Cointreau) was fantastic. My friends enjoyed a sage martini and a coconut milk gin concoction, which were also delicious. The food was outstanding. My scallops were perfectly cooked and served over a bed of roasted corn risotto with a light and tasty cream drizzled with balsamic. I also tried the chimichurri flank steak with roasted potatoes and a roasted tomato and onion side, which was delicious. The ambiance was cozy and welcoming, and the service was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant in downtown Klamath Falls.

I have eaten at this restaurant twice in the past month. The experience was inconsistent. During my first visit, we were ignored at the bar until we requested a menu and a drink. The scallops we ordered were delicious, but my fettuccine Alfredo was dry and lacking in sauce. I asked the server to add more sauce, but it was not hot. On my second visit, my burger was burnt. I have little trust in the kitchen's abilities. However, there is one server who has provided excellent service and made the experience enjoyable. The restaurant is also known for its well-crafted cocktails.

I had the beer infused Mac cheese. It had little taste with inadequate amount of cheese sauce. Another person absolutely raved about the fish tacos. However, the chicken poppers made one person in our group have a bathroom 'emergency ' the next morning.

Love love loved this fabulous downtown bar and restaurant. Super hip vibe, beautifully decorated space with high ceilings, upbeat music not played too loudly. Delicious, thoughtfully curated dishes. Generous portions. Incredibly friendly, on it staff. I mean, what 's not to love? Greeted almost immediately upon walking in the front door. Welcome! Sit wherever you 'd like. Seating options include a variety of booths, tables and chairs, and ample barstools. Shortly after settling into the backmost booth, the lovely Mariah served water with a here you go, sweetheart and a smile. The food menu has plentiful offerings with 9 apps, 4 salads, 9 entrees and 2 desserts. Plus a wide array of signature and seasonal cocktails, beer, wine and Monday-Thursday happy hour specials. If you can 't find something you like here, maybe you 're not actually hungry or thirsty. I opted for the summer peach salad with blue cheese and candied walnuts and seared sea scallops with corn risotto and horseradish cream with a glass of Chardonnay. ~Chef 's kiss~ Did I mention I loved this place? So much so that I returned the next night. Went for the heirloom tomato salad with watermelon, avocado and basil then dove into the most amazing mascarpone cheesecake drizzled in caramelized Jack Daniel 's Honey whiskey sauce. So rich and just delectable. If ever you find yourself in a 50 mile radius of Klamath Falls, get yourself to the Basin Martini Bar on Main Street! I 'd give this place 6 stars if I could.
