Olly's Hostel - Klaeng

Very friendly staff and owner! I went and was the only customer. it is a great hostel for if you just want to sleep and then get up and explore the island. the room is air conditioned, the beds and bathrooms were private and the showers were warm

Great hostel! Interesting (nice) dorm concept, such as a spacious capsule with privacy. Adjacent hot showers. The owners are really great and friendly, they take care of you and are chatty if you want and leave alone if you want. Very comfortable (small) bar area with clean pillows. Overall very clean! You can also book through their Facebook page by contacting them. I stayed a week and enjoyed it very much.

I spent 4 nights in Olly about 2 weeks ago and I absolutely loved it. The room is always clean, there is plenty of room for luggage, beds are also quite large and you can get a bit of privacy thanks to the design. Toilets and showers also very clean and there is enough for all in the room. The bar is really cool, you should also try the food. Prices are quite reasonable compared to the rest of the island. Last but not least the owner (Golf could not be more friendly and helpful. He's a really nice guy, all you need, just go ahead and ask him. I recommend this place absolutely and if you are a solo travel partner, you will find people who are very easy to hang as everyone cools at the bar when they are not around the island. Really cool room, cool staff and cool guests. My friend and I slept comfortably in the double cabin. There were no mosquitoes or insects of any kind inside when these things freak you out. Definitely clean. The location is great as you are just a short walk from the beach, and close to the center of everything else.

Hostel is pretty close to pier and close enough to main beach. Towel is provided. Sparkling clean. Strong AC. Staff friendly and very helpful. Unfortunately we didn't try anything over the bar, probably good. If you come from the pier the hostel is on the right side of the road right (likely you will be walking on the foot path which is only in one side of the road, hostel will be the opposite side). Tip: the 7/11 shop just outside pier see mosquito patches, stock up.
