Sanya Sushi Asian Bistro - KITTY HAWK

I have tried sushi in many places throughout my life, and I can confidently say that Sanya offers some of the best sushi I've ever tasted. We ordered several rolls to share, and they were all exceptional.

The food here was simply outstanding. The chicken Lo Mein and Chicken Teriyaki were packed with flavor, and the fried rice was delicious. Overall, the dining experience was fantastic.

We were seated promptly, and our food arrived quickly after we placed our order. The ingredients were fresh, and the flavors were pleasant without being overwhelming. Many restaurants don't manage to achieve this balance, but they certainly did here.

For our main courses, we had Hibachi chicken and shrimp, Hibachi steak and shrimp, Hibachi steak, and a Teriyaki beef dinner. Salad and clear soup were served first and were absolutely tasty! All of our dinners were scrumptious, and I don’t think anyone left anything on their plates! The service was fantastic; they were quick to clear away our empty plates and refill our drinks. While the prices for dinner were on the higher side, I wholeheartedly recommend Sanya’s!

I completely disagree with the one-star reviews I've read, and some of them nearly made me second-guess my decision to visit Sanya Sushi Bistro. Do yourself a favor and check this place out! The nigiri was fresh and of excellent quality. The toro was exactly what I expect from a richer slice of tuna belly. They offered some unique rolls that really stood out, especially for a local family-run business. I often visit sushi spots in my hometown, and this one is definitely a cut above the rest. The only thing they were missing was uni, but given the current quality issues with it this year, many places are struggling to serve it consistently. I will definitely return the next time I'm in Kitty Hawk!
